Welcome to the new Microsoft Edge

Last year Microsoft announced that its lackluster built-in Edge browser would be getting a shiny new coat of paint. This browser would have a Chromium base and a fresh new logo. Today I stumbled across its release when typing in Chrome into Bing.com search.

The Bleeding Edge

Last year Microsoft announced that its lackluster built-in Edge browser would be getting a shiny new coat of paint. This browser would have a Chromium base and a fresh new logo. Today I stumbled across its release when typing in Chrome into Bing.com search.

Curious to the improvements I downloaded the new browser and I was pleasantly surprised. From the familiar Chromium-based user interface, the immersive reader, built-in privacy functionality and dark theme (I love stock dark theme integration) this is truly a step in the right direction.
